I actually came across this article from a different website, but was intrigued to read it. Not knowing exactly what I was going to find, I was unpleasantly surprised to see an article about the persecution of a doctor. And not only the persecution, but the group, Operation Rescue!, has seemingly made it their mission to find this doctor and murder her. I believe this group is a US based anti-abortion group, that has already been held responsible for the murder of another doctor. I just can't fathom how they can justify murdering somebody, when what they are killing the person for they are calling murder. Hypocrites.
I find it hard to believe that in order to 'control' or try to bring this doctor to face them, they are harassing the lady's mother. That I think is the scariest part. They are bringing in a third person, an outsider who probably has very little to do with the entire thing, an innocent. I just hope that this doctor and her mother can find protection, and isn't harassed much longer by these people simply for doing her chosen profession (She doesn't even practice these things in this country). I also hope that someone can find a way to restrict this group's access to anything, really. They seem not only harmful to the public through hate speech and public demonstration, but their radical actions actually harm people.
