Today I woke up early to sunshine and blue skies. I love how in Texas you can have snow one week and absolutely gorgeous spring weather the next. Thursday's are my day off from school, so I generally refuse to do any work on them. So after opening the windows I sat around at my computer for awhile, ran ICC25, felt sorry for my computer, and then took Kipper to the dog park.
I could probably rant about owners and how much they don't pay attention or do really stupid things while at the dog park, but I'll try not to. It was really muddy, so Kipper and I attempted to find a more-grass-than-mud area to play ball in because that is her sole reason for liking and tolerating the dog park. After being pestered by a lab who was slightly over-protective of her owner, and a meet-and-greet with a park newbie whose ball Kipper decided to steal repeatedly, we went out of the fence and played in the pond. Water was undeniably cold and I'm not sure how dogs don't feel cold like that.
We played ball in the pond for about twenty minutes and then an entire pack of Pitbull looking dogs decided to play the "let's see how fast we can run in a pack" game and basically ran Kipper over. Did I mention she hates crowds of dogs? Not good. Of course she growled a little when they crowded her, and then barked at them because they literally sandwiched her. This only enticed them however and long story short, we went back inside the fence.
We played ball a little bit longer so she would dry off and while doing that, she cut her foot on god knows what, and that ended our trip to the dog park.
We then took a trip to Sonic where I finally had my desired breakfast burrito and came home where Kipper promptly decided she was hungry and pestered me until 6 (that's two long hours of whining) for her dinner. And of course Monty joined in.
I however ignored all this and proceeded to do a very nice, twenty-five minute run of ToC10, where I didn't die once. Go me. Balls to the New Zealander who ran it and I couldn't understand for the life of me. I didn't need his help anyway. Lost a roll (by 3!!) on a sheild I reaaalllllllllyyyyy wanted for OS. One day I should make a list of all the acronyms used in WoW. That would be a ridiculously long list, and what's even more ridiculous is how often they are used.
Went to work after that, designed a package, that was fun, and now I am home procrastinating on my Spanish homework - irregular verbs. I hate this part of Spanish, but I have a quiz tomorrow. Oh shit, I have to correct my essay too.
Well, that means I have to stop rambling about my (not so) interesting day.
I will leave you with this: It seems a nice medium between haste and AP is what I need right now. T9/ilvl <> Stack AP. T10/ ilvl > 232 -> Stack Haste. Of which I am right in the middle, damn T10 is ridiculously expensive. So I have T9 with most >232 other crap. Can't wait for Cataclysm.
