No pictures yet. But I'm still reminding myself.
Friday was a really good day. First off, I didn't have class. Then I I basically got told I got both of the jobs I wanted (one for summer, one for fall). Super excited. I also made/re-made some decisions, some fully mine, and some not fully mine, but in the end, I think they are the right ones. And not only right, but in the best interest of everything. To have things settled like that makes me feel very much at ease. It didn't even negate anything really, just clarified things. I love that.
Friday night, my soccer games went well, imo. Actually, they really did. We won the first game 4-1? and I meg'd the keeper (who was Carl, poor guy.). :D It was just generally a good game. Second game I scored another goal, which in all probability shouldn't have actually made it past the line it was rolling so slow. A few minutes later, I was fully body-checked (hockey-style) into the wall. Luckily I had my hand out guiding/bracing myself against the wall and so when this guy (220+lbs 6+ft?) hit me I slammed my head onto my arm rather than the wall. That could have been REALLY bad for me. This did however cause me to step on my almost-better-sprained-ankle funny and make it swell up and hurt. Stupid guy. Definitely deserved more than just a foul for that. He continued to do this to me three or four more times in the middle of the field. Bastard. But we won by a fairly good margin, so no complaints.
Saturday I woke up ridiculously sore all through my back, the back of my arms, and my legs from the hit. =\ As a matter of fact, I still feel it today, three days later. Didn't really do too much Saturday until D&D where a bunch of stuff happened. Raising Cane's chicken is pretty good, but not filling. I think I ate an entire bag of chips after eating a meal =| Apparently I am the catalyst for characters dying in our game. In five? four? weeks, I have only missed one game, and the only game I missed was the one game a character didn't die or have to leave the game. But we're getting closer to the finale. I'm excited. ^^
Sunday was Mother's Day so I hung out with my mom and we watched movies on tv most of the afternoon. I studied, or at least tried to, most of Sunday night. Stayed up until about 4? Thinking I would grab a quick nap, I set my alarm for 6am and tried to sleep. Apparently I can turn my alarm clock off in my sleep and bury my phone in my covers. Woke up to my mother at 7.15 telling me to hurry up and leave. Threw some clothes on, drove to class, got stuck in traffic, weren't any close spots, rode my bike up the fking hill to the Union, showed up 15m late and was allowed to take my test. *phew* I think I did alright.
Had a breakfast date, and now I am trying to think of ways to kill time before lunch and taking Kipper to the vet and meeting for work. Hmm..
I wonder what you're dreaming of
When you've got that smile on your face
I hope that it is me, 'cause lately
I've been having that dream of you
I hope this night will never end
Cause I don't want to wake up from my dreams.
When you've got that smile on your face

I totally understand your near testing disaster! That has happened to me WAY too many times. It's not the right way to live your life.. too much stress. :(
